Delivering Timely Data with a Biomarker Data Management System

A large pharmaceutical company was initiating an effort to collect and analyze biomarker data from over 200 trials across three therapeutic areas. They sought a partner who could help them support all aspects of data management and provide clean, quality biomarker data in their standard format. The sponsor selected Labcorp, and used their Functional Service Provider (FSPx) model to set up a new platform and processes to coordinate, transfer, map and deliver all of the biomarker study data. This case study outlines the challenges faced and discusses how the sponsor and the FSPx team developed a system to continually support rapid turnaround and deliver timely reports to biomarker scientists.
