Labcorp Publishes 2023 Corporate Responsibility Report
Highlights include progress on initiatives aimed at protecting the environment, cultivating a skilled and diverse workforce and expanding health access to underserved communities

2023 Corporate Responsibility Highlights:
- Joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) – the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world – committing to responsible business practices in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption
- Advanced strategy to attract and retain a highly skilled and diverse workforce and foster a culture of belonging; among its 67,000+ employees:
- 70% of all global employees are women
- 60% of all global management are women
- 51% of all U.S. employees are people of color
- 34% of U.S. management are people of color
- Continued to invest in its employees' overall wellbeing through numerous benefits and training opportunities:
- Approximately 31,000 U.S. employees and spouses received up to $1,000 in health reimbursement contributions for wellness activities
- Offered more than 13,700 training courses globally
- Received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for the following targets to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions:
- Reducing direct and indirect GHG emissions 42 percent by 2030
- Reducing GHG emissions across our value chain 25 percent by 2030
- Invested over $5 million in hybrid and electric vehicles, with a net increase of 187 vehicles to our fleet for a total of 990 vehicles, resulting in a 5.4% improvement in fuel efficiency versus 2021
- Awarded 143 grants through The Labcorp Charitable Foundation to support health and welfare, education, and community support initiatives focused on underserved populations
