Spatial transcriptomic study of the tumor microenvironment in HNSCC

The dynamic nature of the immune tumor microenvironment presents challenges for robust biomarker development for immunotherapy. This study evaluated the GeoMx Human Whole Transcriptome Atlas panel (18,000 genes) using NanoString GeoMx digital spatial profiling technology and demonstrated precision and reproducibility of the assay using specimens from patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
