Supply chain update for blood cultures

We are aware of current delays in the global supply of some BD BACTECTM blood culture media. While we anticipate no disruption in maintaining volume levels for our current clients, we do not have the capacity to accept additional volumes of blood culture testing at this time.  

At Labcorp, we understand the critical role blood culture media play in diagnosing and treating infections for patients in hospitals. However, referring routine blood cultures outside the hospital is not a recommended solution. Labcorp is actively reviewing all available options to support our customers and laboratory partners during this time.
