Benjamin A. Nye, MT(ASCP)SH

Mr Nye joined Labcorp in 2005 with previous generalist experience in a community hospital and large tertiary care academic medical centers. He earned a BS in medical laboratory science at the University of Vermont. He is certified as a medical technologist and specialist in hematology by the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Mr Nye’s current responsibilities include operations director at the regional laboratory in Burlington, North Carolina.  Additionally, he is the co-discipline director for core laboratory coagulation.

Araceli B. Reyes, MD

Dr Reyes is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. She has been the Medical Director of the Northeast Division of Labcorp since 2012. She received her Medical degree from the University of Santo Thomas, Manila, Philippines, where she also completed a Clinical Pathology Residency. She completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as a Clinical Medicine/Immunopathology fellowship at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York.

Araceli B. Reyes, MD

Dr Reyes is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. She has been the Medical Director of the Northeast Division of Labcorp since 2012. Dr Chenn is board certified in clinical pathology and molecular genetic pathology. Dr Chenn received his undergraduate degree in biochemical sciences at Harvard University and his MD and PhD in neurosciences from Stanford University. He completed his residency in clinical pathology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and post-doctoral training in the lab of Dr Christopher Walsh at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and was an instructor at Harvard Medical School.

Dr Throop is discipline director for routine chemistry at Labcorp and the technical director in the Phoenix Regional Laboratory. She has been with Labcorp since February 2016. Prior to joining Labcorp, Dr Throop served as a Production Manager at the Biodesign Center for Personalized Diagnostics overseeing a high-throughput molecular coloning and array facility. In addition she also served as a Quality Specialist and Technician for a COLA accredited in-practice laboratory.
